On April 11, 2024, B. Riley Farber Inc. (“B. Riley Farber”) was appointed as Receiver (in such capacities, the “Receiver”) pursuant to section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. B-3, as amended and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. C.43, as amended, of the current and future assets, undertakings and properties of 1000162497 Ontario Inc. and Maplequest Uptown Developments Inc. (the “Companies”) acquired for, or used in relation to a business carried on by the Companies, including the land and premises located at 19 Cedar Ave. and 9 Cedar Ave., Markham, Ontario pursuant to an Order (the “Appointment Order”) of the Honourable Justice Steele of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (the “Court”).
