Background
On August 3, 2021, B. Riley Farber Inc. (“B. Riley Farber“) was appointed by the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta (the “Court”) as Receiver (the “Receiver” or “B. Riley Farber”), without security, over all of the current and future assets, undertakings, and properties of every nature and kind whatsoever, and wherever situate, including all proceeds therefor (the “Property”) belonging to Camdale Consulting Inc. and A.C.T. Insurance Ltd. (the “Companies”).
On December 7, 2021, the Court authorized the Receiver to implement a claims process (“Claims Process”) that will be available to all known creditors of the Companies.

Creditors Claims Process
The Receiver’s task is to administer a claims process and distribute any proceeds obtained from liquidating the Property to the Companies’ creditors (“Creditors”). As a first step in that process, all Creditors are required to provide a Proof of Claim to the Receiver by no later than 5:00 p.m. Mountain time on March 5, 2022 (the “Claims Bar Date”). If no Proof of Claim is provided to the Receiver by the Claims Bar Date, the Creditor (i) shall not be entitled to any further notice, (ii) shall be forever barred from pursuing a Claim against Companies, (iii) shall not be entitled file a Claim against Companies, an (iv) shall not be entitled to receive a distribution of any property or proceeds realized by the Receiver.
The Receiver sent out claims packages (a “Claims Package”) to all potential claimants identified by the Receiver up to the date of the Claims Process Order. The Package sent consisted of:
- Notice to Creditors of Claims Process
- Proof of Claim Form
- Copy of the Claims Process Order (without exhibits)
The Claims Package is also available on the Receiver’s website under the Creditors tab below, for Creditors who did not receive a Claims Package from the Receiver.
