On October 6, 2023, by Order (the “Receivership Order“) of the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta (the “Court“), pursuant to section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, RSC 1985, c B-3 (“BIA“), section 13(2) of the Judicature Act, RSA 2000, c J-2, section 65(7) of the Personal Property Security Act, RSA 2000, c P-7 (“PPSA”), and section 49 of the Law of Property Act, RSA 2000, c L-7, B. Riley Farber Inc. was appointed as Receiver (the “Receiver“), without security, of all of Tigris Management Corp.’s (the “Debtor“) present and after-acquired personal property situated on the land municipally described as 4015 17 Avenue Southeast in Calgary, Alberta (the “Commercial Lands”), or which at any was annexed to, comprise in, pertaining or relating to or used in connection with the Commercial Lands, including all rents, deposits, bank accounts, other amounts and all books and records associated with such collateral and the Commercial Lands (collectively and together with the Commercial Lands, the “Property”).
