Cameron Browning is a Director in the Western Canada Restructuring practice at B. Riley Farber. He focuses on corporate restructuring, insolvency and financial advisory services.
With experience advising lenders, creditors, companies, and other stakeholders, Cameron has worked on both informal and formal corporate restructuring and insolvency engagements, specializing in financial modeling, business performance assessments, strategic planning, and cash flow management.
Cameron has helped numerous clients achieve successful outcomes across a broad range of industries, such as real estate, oil & gas, oilfield services, construction, retail, and transportation.

- Financial advisor to a construction company, analyzing and improving their financial models and other key financial data to facilitate effective communication with their lender.
- Financial advisor to a group of lenders, engaged to perform a business review of an oilfield services company, including assessing loan security and reviewing potential exit strategies.
- Court-appointed monitor of a E&P company, assisting the company through a sale and investment solicitation process, various negotiations with key stakeholders, and the approval of a RVO transaction.
- Bankruptcy trustee of a modular construction company. Administered the wind-down of the company’s operations through the bankruptcy process.
- Court-appointed monitor and subsequent receiver of a E&P company primarily operating in Western Canada. Operating the company while running a sales process and navigating communications with multiple corporate and regulatory stakeholders.
- Court-appointed receiver and manager of a hotel. Overseeing operations of the business and launching a sales process that led to a substantial recovery for the lender.
- Court-appointed monitor and subsequent receiver of a retail accessories business operating across Canada, implementing a successful inventory liquidation strategy that maximized recovery for the lender.
