Gilcheck Management Inc. (“Gilcheck“) is an Ontario incorporated company that provides a variety of management services to the construction industry.
Gilcheck filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (“NOI“) pursuant to the provisions of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (“BIA“) on July 22nd, 2011, and B. Riley Farber Inc. (“B. Riley Farber“) was appointed as Proposal Trustee.
Status Updates
Gilcheck obtained a series of Court approved extensions of time to file a Proposal.
On January 3, 2012, Gilcheck filed its Proposal as required. Notice of the Proposal and the Meeting of Creditors was mailed to all creditors of Gilcheck on January 13, 2012. The Meeting of Creditors was held on January 24, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, 25 St. Clair Avenue East, 6th Floor, Toronto, Ontario. The Proposal was approved by the requisite majority of creditors at the Meeting of Creditors.
On February 23, 2012, the Court approved the Proposal filed by Gilcheck. A copy of the approval Order can be found below.
B. Riley Farber was discharged as Trustee pursuant to a Court Order dated January 5, 2018.
