GSR Mining Corporation/AJ Perron Gold Corp.

On August 23, 2016,  B. Riley Farber Inc.  (“B. Riley Farber“) became the Court-Appointed Receiver (the “Receiver“) pursuant to section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. C.43, as amended, over certain rights in respect of twenty parcels of land (the “Property“) jointly owned by GSR Mining Corporation and AJ Perron Gold Corp. pursuant to an Order (the “Appointment Order“) of the Honourable Justice Hainey of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List).

The Property was formerly related to the Kerr-Addison gold mine which operated from approximately 1930 until 1996 in Virginiatown, Ontario.

Status Updates

On October 3, 2016, the Receiver obtained court approval of a sale and investment solicitation process (“SISP”) to offer the Property for sale to the public.

On October 31, 2016, the Receiver sought court approval of:

1. an Agreement of Purchase and Sale between the Receiver and Gold Candle Ltd. in respect of the Property;
2. the Receiver’s Third Report, activities and conduct;
3. the professional fees of the Receiver and its counsel; and
4. the Receiver’s discharge.
