Web Offset Publications Limited (“Web” or the “Company“) is an Ontario incorporated company that provides conventional print services for publications, catalogs, directories, financial packages, alumni, agency work and educational material from its plant in Pickering, Ontario.
Web filed a Proposal pursuant to the provisions of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (“BIA“) on November 18, 2015. B. Riley Farber Inc. (the “Proposal Trustee”) is the proposal trustee. The Proposal was approved by the requisite majority of creditors at the Meeting of Creditors held on December 8, 2015, and was subsequently approved by the Court on January 26, 2016. The proposal payments were being made until December 31, 2016.
Status Update
On January 18, 2017, Web filed a new Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal pursuant to the provisions of the BIA. The trustee under this new NOI is Dodick Landau Inc. Any questions on this new proceeding should be directed to Dodick Landau Inc.
Effective January 31, 2017, Web defaulted in the performance of the current proposal. The Proposal Trustee issued a Notice of Default and intends to proceed to wind up the administration of the Proposal without annulling the Proposal.
